S. BRADY WHITAKER, chief executive officer
Mr. Whitaker serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer and Senior Counsel. He joined the James Street Group, LLC as Managing Director/Senior Trust Counsel after working as a Senior Executive and Trust Counsel for a regional bank trust department. Brady began his career as a lawyer with a large Houston-based law firm, primarily representing businesses and financial institutions in the insurance defense section of the firm. After joining the trust department as trust counsel, he served as Chief Legal Counsel with responsibility for trust litigation, compliance, and business development. Mr. Whitaker’s diverse legal career includes prior service with the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he served as Chief of International and Operational Law. His last duty assignment was with the United States Army South, based in San Antonio, where he served as Chief of Claims as a reserve component officer. Mr. Whitaker is licensed to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the Texas Supreme Court, and the United States District Courts in Texas. Brady is a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo where he serves on several committees.

HANSON D. STREET, director of business development
Hanson Street is the son of the late James Street who was a pioneer in the settlement planning industry. Hanson graduated early from Pepperdine University with Cum Laude Honors as a Division I baseball player. After graduating, Hanson worked for The James Street Group, Inc., a company which provided a multitude of client services such as trust administration, Medicare Set-Aside implementation, and structured settlement planning. Subsequently, he worked for Raymond James & Associates as a licensed Financial Advisor (Series 7, Series 66). Following this, Hanson joined the McCombs MBA program at The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with a concentration in finance. After earning his MBA, Hanson formed Street Settlements, LLC, a vehicle through which he provides settlement planning services. Hanson currently works as the Director of Business Development for The James Street Group, LLC, where he has worked now for nearly a decade.

CHRISTOPHER REEDY, chief fiduciary officer
Christopher Reedy received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law in Camden, New Jersey and a B. A. in Psychology from University of Northern Colorado. During law school, Chris was chosen to be part of a prestigious internship with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office. Chris joined The Plaintiff Advisory Group in September 2010 and is currently the Director of distributions. Through his demonstrated excellence in the field of wealth management and trusts, Chris has been awarded the designation of Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) from the Institute of Certified Bankers, a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association. Prior to joining The Plaintiff Advisory Group, Chris spent 3 1/2 years working with one of the nation’s leading special needs trust and disability experts. There he became well-versed in Special Needs Trusts and varying public benefits associated with such trusts. Prior to law school, Chris was a supervisor at a Residential Treatment Center for children with emotional difficulties. Chris’s education and experience helping children with varying levels of Autism and other emotional difficulties provides him a unique insight and understanding when caring for our clients and administering their trusts.
JÉRÉMIE H. PARÉ, senior director
Jérémie Paré serves as a Director for the James Street Group, LLC. He received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University, and holds law degrees from Rutgers University and Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to joining TJSG, Jérémie was in private legal practice, focusing on trust, estate, and consumer law issues. Jérémie is an avid traveler, especially where he can get off the beaten path.
GLORIA HESS, associate director
Gloria Hess is a graduate of the Texas Department of Banking Trust School and the Advanced TBA Trust School. Her career in banking spans 30 years and includes 20 years in trust administration. Gloria specializes in administering court-created trusts which include Section 142 Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Chapter 1301 Trusts (formerly Section 867), Supplemental Care Trusts and trusts for non-resident alien status for Mexican Nationals. Gloria also has managed investment management agency and custody accounts. She is a member of the Houston Estate Financial Forum and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
MONICA CAIN, associate director
Monica Cain serves as the Office Manager of The James Street Group, LLC. Monica received her degree in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. She previously worked as an Investor Communications Representative for Janus Mutual funds and owned a small business for 7 years before joining our team. Active in the community, Monica enjoys cooking, traveling with her family, and many different arts and crafts.
Victoria received her degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Sam Houston State University. Victoria joined The James Street Group in May 2014. She takes pride in establishing a strong connection with clients and working closely with them to achieve their goals. Victoria prioritizes spending quality time with family and loved ones.

MATT JACKSON, chief financial officer
Matt Jackson received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Texas. Matt has over 20 years of experience in financial and tax accounting. Matt joined The James Street Group in January 2003 and is currently in charge of all financial and human resource matters for the company.
